The FSCNY Annual Conference & Exposition, held
May 11th at the Marriott Hotel at the Brooklyn Bridge,
was a great success.
Attendees heard from William Sellery, the
Washington representative for FiSCA; Jonathan
Mintz, Commissioner of the New York City Department of Consumer
Affairs; and U.S. Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney (D-NY).
A panel
discussed the “Role of Alternative Financial Service Providers in
serving the Underbanked & Unbanked.”
More than
40 exhibitors were on hand, displaying their products and services.
During
the morning session Howard Stein, Chairman and Founder of RiteCheck,
was recognized for his 60 years of leadership and service to the
industry.
The
afternoon was dedicated a number of workshops, aimed at both
managers and tellers.
