President’s Message

Thank you for visiting the official website of the Financial Service Centers of New York (FSCNY). FSCNY is the industry’s leading voice on legislative, regulatory and business issues and the leading advocate for the rights of consumers to access basic financial services in New York State.

We have recently redesigned our website to provide you with easy access to accurate and helpful information about the licensed check cashing industry in New York, our members, and our association and its activities. Additionally, you will find information about the customers we serve and the many ways we work to help improve the communities where our members live and work.

We encourage you to explore our new website to learn more about our industry. The Community Outreach section profiles the many ways that FSCNY and its members help improve our communities. Whether through our Scholarship Program, “Democracy for All” voter registration drive, financial education programs or fundraisers to help others in need, such as Haiti Relief, the Association and the industry are very much involved in the communities that we serve.

Our Press Room contains press releases and back issues of FSCNY Update, our periodic newsletter as well as the archive of association press releases. For those interested in the industry, we have a Resources Section that includes industry research and information, fact sheets and a Vendor Guide, where you can find the leading suppliers of products and services to the industry.

The Events section provides a wealth of information about our Annual Conference & Exposition, monthly Board of Directors meetings, General Membership Meetings, and other industry events.
You can learn more about the advantages of FSCNY membership by visiting the Membership section and find a licensed member store conveniently located near you by visiting our Locations section.

I hope that as a result of using this site you have a better understanding of our industry and the important role it plays in the daily lives of so many New Yorkers. We hope you find our website helpful and invite you to contact us if you need additional information or have any questions.

Sincerely,

Andrew Siegel, President
